OREM – Southbound I-15 in Orem Restricted to Three Lanes

As early as Sept. 6, crews are scheduled to reduce southbound I-15 to three lanes at the Orem Center Street interchange. Southbound I-15 is already reduced to three lanes at the 1600 North and 800 North interchanges. Auxiliary lanes connecting the on- and off-ramps will be provided to allow drivers the opportunity to enter and exit I-15 safely. This restriction allows crews to finish preparations for the dividing of the southbound lanes of the freeway toward the end of September.

The split will be similar to the configuration currently in effect in the American Fork area. Trucks will be allowed to use all lanes in this area.
